The three biggest factors in determining when to visit Walt Disney World are crowds, cost and weather.
- The two weeks surrounding the Christmas and New Year is the busiest time with upwards of 92,000 people in touring the Magic Kingdom.
- Thanksgiving, the week of President’s Day, school spring break and Easter break are also extremely busy.
- The least busy time is the week after Thanksgiving until the week before Christmas. Next slowest periods are early November, September and October, January and February (up to President’s week) and after Easter holiday break through early June.
- January is the least busy. September, October and November have grown in popularity but fall is still good for weekday touring of the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios while Animal Kingdom and Epcot are good during the weekends.
