WALT DISNEY WORLD

What are the park hours?
Walt Disney World park hours change seasonally and are subject to change without notice, so we recommend visiting the Disney World site’s Park Calendar.

How do I navigate the parks?
We have a handy property map navigator for each park, but we recommend you use your My Disney Experience mobile app, which includes GPS-enabled maps.

How do I make arrangements for Disney Character Dining?
The theme parks and Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort offer a variety of Character Dining opportunities.

Character Dining is very popular, and we strongly recommend that you make reservations in advance. You can also do this through your My Disney Experience mobile app.

What are the options for guests with disabilities?
Parking for guests with disabilities is available all throughout Walt Disney World Resort. A valid disability parking permit is required.

Disability Access Service: Guests with disabilities who are unable to tolerate long lines may be eligible to return to an attraction at a later time.

Restrooms at the theme parks offer facilities designed for access by guests with mobility disabilities. Companion-assisted restroom facilities are also available at various locations in each theme park. Theme park First Aid locations have facilities with additional space and privacy for individuals who may need assistance from a member of their party with their personal care needs.

Get an overview of the many services and access options available all throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

What’s the best age for taking the kids to Disney?
As people who love Disney, we think any age is a great age to experience Disney! But different ages mean different experiences.

Where can I rent strollers for my little ones?
Strollers are available to rent throughout the Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs.

Single Stroller (recommended for children 50 lbs. or less):

A $100 USD credit card deposit is required for strollers rented at Disney Springs.

Double Stroller (recommended for children 100 lbs. or less):

Length of Stay Rental. Pre-pay the number of days that you will require a stroller and save. Purchase a Length of Stay rental ticket for less per day when rented for multiple days. Then, upon visiting a theme park, simply show your receipt at the rental location to receive your stroller for the day.

Stroller Return. Strollers should be returned to a rental location before leaving the theme park.

Stroller Replacement. Strollers cannot be removed from the parks. When visiting more than one park in a single day, simply present your rental receipt at another park to obtain a replacement. Likewise, if you misplace your stroller, replacements are available with a receipt at various locations throughout the Resort, based on availability.

Should we fly or drive?
It depends on how far you live from the Disney destination. It’s easy to drive to Walt Disney World from the Carolinas! Walt Disney World is located southwest of Orlando, off Interstate 4, west of Florida’s Turnpike.

If you live farther than you’re willing to drive, you’ll want to fly into Orlando International Airport. Your AAA Travel Specialist can help with your flight booking, as well as options for getting to your hotel or resort from the airport.

I will be visiting multiple Disney theme parks on the same day. Do I have to pay for parking at each theme park?
No. If you pay for parking at one Disney theme park, you may park at other Disney theme parks on the same day for no additional charge.

If your ticket has the Park Hopper Option, you can also use the complimentary Walt Disney World transportation system to visit all other theme parks.

If you are a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you receive complimentary standard parking at Disney theme parks for the length of your Resort hotel stay. You must present valid Disney Resort hotel identification to enter the parking lots.

DISNEYLAND RESORT

What’s the best way to get to Disneyland if I’m flying?
If you’re flying, you’ll want to fly into the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Disneyland Resort is located approximately 40 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. Travel from the airport:

The Disneyland Resort Express provides the most convenient mode of transportation between LAX and the Disneyland Resort area—including both Disneyland Resort and Anaheim Resort hotels. Upon exiting the baggage claim area at LAX, proceed to the center island. You may board the Disneyland Resort Express underneath the green sign in front of each terminal. Buses depart frequently, beginning at Terminal #1. Reservations are not required, but there is a fee to ride.

Metro (Bus and Rail): The Los Angeles Metro consists of a network of interlinked bus routes and rail lines.

Learn more about the Los Angeles Metro.

Shuttles, Limousines and Taxicabs: There are a number of shared-ride shuttles and limousines available to take you directly to the Disneyland Resort. It’s best to arrange your transportation prior to arriving at the airport.

Taxicabs are available for direct transportation service to the Disneyland Resort. After exiting baggage claim, walk outside to the taxi stand. Taxis can be found curbside on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the yellow sign indicating “Taxis.” You will be presented with a ticket stating typical fares to major destinations. Only authorized taxis with an official seal issued by City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation are permitted in the airport. It is illegal for any transportation services to solicit fares, and travelers using such services do so at their own risk.

For more information about ground transportation, schedules, fares and routes, visit the Los Angeles International Airport website.

Can I make a dining reservation at a Disneyland Resort restaurant before I arrive?
Reservations are offered at select restaurants throughout the Disneyland Resort and, due to limited availability, they are highly recommended.

You can make dining reservations online or call (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463 up to 60 days in advance. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

What are the options for guests with disabilities?
Manual wheelchairs are available for rent outside the entrance of Disneyland Park and can be used in both parks. A limited number of wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Since wheelchairs and ECVs may not be reserved, please plan to arrive early.

A limited supply of manual wheelchairs is also available for Guest rental and use at select Disneyland Resort hotel locations. When you arrive at your hotel, contact the Front Desk or the Concierge to make arrangements for your wheelchair rental. Guests are invited to bring and use their own ECVs and wheelchairs throughout the Disneyland Resort.
